Padstow Brewing Windjammer Copper Ale

This copper-hued ale calls to mind the changing leaves of autumn. A traditional English bitter, it balances malty sweetness with a gentle touch of spice. Padstow Brewing, starting off in a bit of Heath Robinson way, brewing out of a cramped surf shower in the early 2010s, have gone on to do quite well for themselves. They've certainly benefitted from the Padstow/'Padstein' connection, but their beers don't really need a leg-up and stand comparison with any all by themselves. And with over ten years of honing their skills, and now they've got the awards and a proper-sized brewery to prove it.
