This here's a classic porter - rich, dark, and full of flavour. Notes of roasted coffee and a hint of dark chocolate linger on the tongue. It's easy-drinking, just the way a good porter should be, and a modest strength means you can enjoy a couple without feeling weighed down. Perfect for chilly evenings, warming you up after a walk on the coast, or sharing fireside with good company.

Padstow Brewing, starting off in a bit of Heath Robinson way, brewing out of a cramped surf shower in the early 2010s, have gone on to do quite well for themselves. They've certainly benefitted from the Padstow/'Padstein' connection, but their beers don't really need a leg-up and stand comparison with any all by themselves. And with over ten years of honing their skills, and now they've got the awards and a proper-sized brewery to prove it.
