Ouzo 12

Ouzo is Greece's contribution to the rich array of aniseed spirits hailing from different parts of the world and Ouzo 12 is one of the leading brands. While anise is naturally the defining flavour the secret recipe also includes a further range of seeds and herbs to give it its characteristic exquisite flavour and aroma. It's generally drunk either as a refreshing aperitif, or on ice or with chilled water.

The name Ouzo 12 comes from 'Barrel No.12' at the Kaloynannis distillery in 1880 which contained what was considered the finest blend. Contents of this barrel were the best. The distillery is known for using a unique recipe that includes a mix of herbs and spices, making Ouzo 12 one of the most popular and recognizable brands in Greece and internationally.
