Nuestro Verdejo 2022

This breezy white opens with bright citrus and a hint of something floral - think wildflowers, rather than perfume. It's got a lovely freshness to it, with flavours of crisp apples and pears, plus a subtle earthiness that reminds you where it came from. Rueda sits north of Madrid, in a dusty part of Spain where the Verdejo grape feels right at home. It's lively and zingy, but there's a bit of weight to it too, making it surprisingly satisfying on its own. Definitely a crowd-pleaser.
