Made from over 100 different wines of which around a quarter are reserve wines which ensure consistency of style, it's a classic blend of about 30-40% Pinots Noir and Meunier with the rest being Chardonnay. It makes a lively and elegant Champagne with apple and pear aromas and brioche notes on the palate, that deliver an impressive depth and elegance.
The Producer:
Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, it was when his grandson Jean-Remy Moët came on board that Moët & Chandon started down the road to global prominence. Now, as part of the global luxury goods group LVMH, this well-loved brand is firmly placed among the worlds best-selling Champagnes having consummately mastered the art of producing bubbles that feel both celebratory and classic.
When to Drink:
