Description
In a nutshell:
Flavoursome dry stout from Bermondsey's Kernel Brewery.
The lowdown:
Brewing some of the capital's most sought after beers, The Kernel from Bermondsey have created an enviable reputation among the new wave of craft brewers. Brewed with changing array of hops chack each bottle for the contents of that batch.
The Brewery
The Kernel is the original Bermondsey craft brewery and was founded in 2009 by Evin O'Riordan, who wanted to create a brewery that focused on using the best ingredients and brewing techniques to produce beers that were both delicious and complex. They quickly gained a reputation for their hoppy beers, such as IPAs and DIPAs. However, they also turn out a wide range of other styles ranging from stouts, porters, saisons, and sours and even the odd lager or two. Theyre also committed to experimentation and innovation and are constantly pushing the boundaries. This has resulted in some quite unique and special beers, such as their barrel-aged and mixed fermentation beers.
Style - Stout ABV 4.5% - Moderate Strength
