The history of DO Rueda is irretrievably linked to the Verdejo variety, and it is precisely Bodegas Naia that decided to settle in 2002 in La Seca, in the heart of Rueda, to make the most of the original Verdejo clone.
La Seca is a town whose municipal term is mostly planted with vineyards and where the exceptional climate and soil conditions and the imposing old vines make it a perfect enclave for producing some of the best white wines in the world.
From the beginning, Bodegas Naia has based its work on a selection of old vines of the native Verdejo, planted in a glass and has always tried to obtain wines with the authenticity that rigorous work in the vineyard gives. Precisely the vineyard becomes the fundamental piece in the elaboration of the wines of Bodegas Naia.
Converted in such a short time into a benchmark brand in defence of the Verdejo, Naia reproduces the model of the great whites of the planet, fresh wines but also large, tasty and with character.
