Although you don't see it much on the label, Grenache is one of the world's most important red wine grapes. Most of the time it's part of a blend, but for our Generous Grenache Duo Pack we've picked out a pair where it has all the limelight.
One comes from its western Mediterranean heartland, in the Languedoc, and is, quite simply, an easily enjoyable glugger, soft ripe and fruity. The other, a bit more sophisticated maybe, comes from South Australia's McLaren Vale. It's full and fruit laden but with a spicy, earthy undertow adding a new layer of character.
For sheer juicy enjoyability you wont go far wrong here.
