Fruh Kolsch BOTTLE

Kölsch is the distinctive beer of the city of Cologne which sits astride the Rhine in northern Germany. The brewing process makes Kölsch something of a cross between ale and lager and results in a wonderfully lemony, easy drinking beer. The soft, delicate hoppiness balances the fruity maltiness well and leads up to a clean, dry and fresh finish with just a hint of grapefruit - delicious.

Früh Kölsch has been available for over 100 years. It all started in 1895, when Peter Josef Früh, who came from a brewing family in nearby Brühl, founded what was to become Cölner Hofbräu Früh in Cologne. Ever since then they've been brewing copious quantities of Kölsch, the distinctive light and drinkable ale/lager hybrid which originates from here.
