Situated in the small town of Azagra, on the border of Navarra and Rioja, Bodegas Manzanos is uniquely positioned to produce wines from both renowned regions. Founded in 1890, the real transformation occurred in 2010 when Victor Fernández de Manzanos, his brother David, and Laura Mateo took the helm. They revitalised the winery, introducing cutting-edge equipment and expanding their facilities. Today, they manage several hundred hectares of vines, crafting a diverse array of wines. Their Finca Manzanos, Voché, and Castillo de Enériz ranges brilliantly showcase both contemporary and traditional winemaking styles, embodying the best of both worlds.
When to Drink:
Great with grilled prawns, salted almonds, or a classic tortilla de patatas, but it's also lovely on its own when you're in the mood for something easy, refreshing, and uncomplicated.
