Bottled after the barest of filtration this fine, powerfully aromatic Manzanilla retains the intense golden colour and pungent character it acquired while ageing for over four years in butts. Fresh, with a salty tang and plenty of acidity together with a very satisfying lemon twist to the finish. There's also plenty of colour, weight and concentration. This is the 2017 release from specialist independent sherry bottlers Equipo Navazos.
When to drink:
Chilled Manzanilla while always a good aperitif also goes well with things like deep fried seafood.
