Description
In a nutshell:
Light and silky, this organic Chilean Pinot Noir is packed with juicy cherry and strawberry flavours, a hint of spice, and a fresh, smooth finish.
The lowdown:
This New World Pinot Noir is a real crowd-pleaser, kicking things off with earthy aromas and bright wild strawberries that immediately draw you in. There's a lovely twist of juniper and black pepper on the nose, adding a bit of intrigue. On the palate, juicy red cherries and a hint of chocolate make it smooth and satisfying. After six months in French oak, it's gained just the right amount of complexity while keeping its soft, silky tannins. Welcoming and effortlessly easy to drink, a Pinot that's as versatile as it is delicious.
The Producer:
Viñedos Emiliana is one of Chile's most exciting and trailblazing producers, leading the way in organic and biodynamic winemaking. Founded in 1986 by brothers Rafael and José Guilisasti, the winery has gone from strength to strength, especially with renowned winemaker Alvaro Espinoza on board since 2000. They farm nearly 1,000 hectares across regions such as Casablanca, Maipo, Cachapoal, Colchagua, and Bio Bio, crafting award-winning wines that showcase the best of these areas. Their biodynamic vineyard and winery at Los Robles is a global showpiece, drawing visitors from all over. Innovative and natural, their wines are crafted with care and it shows.
When to drink:
Great slightly chilled, this pairs beautifully with dishes like garlic butter prawns, seared scallops, or roast chicken, as its bright red fruit and gentle spice complement both delicate shellfish and tender white meats.
Suitable for Vegans, Organic
