Dye Bleeding Skin Contact Grenache Gris 2025

This skin-contact Grenache Gris is a bit of a surprise – it actually looks more like a rosé. A bit like popping a red sock in with your whites. But looks aside, it's seriously good: beautifully pale pink in colour, with clean, fresh aromas and a burst of fresh strawberries on the palate. There's a nice zesty finish too. Made in Paarl, South Africa, it was skin fermented naturally and matured in cool ceramic eggs. A bit of a quirky one and there's not much of it around, but honestly, really delicious and very worthwhile.

This savoury Grenache Gris is spot on for smoky pork chops, Jersey Royals, and a bit of asparagus.
