When we landed on 'Silken Shades of Red' as the theme for March's Curious Case, Pinot Noir was the first thing that popped into our heads. And fair enough - it's got that whole smooth, supple, effortlessly elegant thing down to a fine art. But it's not the only grape that does it - not by a long chalk.
