Cotswolds Dry Gin

Cotswolds Dry Gin is made with a selection of nine classic botanicals including locally sourced Cotswolds lavender. It has refreshingly lean palate with a pine and juniper spiciness and citrusy grapefruit flavours along with hints of lime and lavender. Due to the unusually high volume of botanicals used a beautiful pearlescent cloud can appear when ice or tonic is added. Best enjoyed served in the classic way with tonic over ice when it makes a superb cloudy G&T.

Cotswolds Distillery which sits in the village of Stourton, in the heart of picturesque region it takes its name from, could hardly be a more English sounding enterprise. In fact, the business is the brainchild of New Yorker Daniel Szor, who, after a financial career in London, set about establishing a distillery near his home in the depths of rural England. The business was started in 2013 and while gin was first spirit made, they also distil and mature a range of whiskies that are making a definite impact in the market.
