A clever South African take on white Bordeaux, blending old-vine Franschhoek Sémillon with Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenbosch's cooler slopes. The Sémillon is aged in large-format French and Austrian oak, the Sauvignon kept fresh on lees in steel - both for ten months. The result? A proper grown-up white with citrus peel, waxy texture, and a gently savoury edge. It's got depth, poise, and a nod to the Graves - but without the price tag. At this sort of money, it punches well above its weight.

Spot on with roast chicken, garlicky prawns, or a lemony pasta dish. Crack it open on a laid-back Sunday lunch or when you fancy something a bit more interesting midweek. Will age, but doesn't need to.
