The Gremillet family have been winegrowers since the 18th century but it wasn't until 1979 that they started making Champagne under their own name. In a competitive market they found their first niche in export markets and in particular they supplied more than fifty embassies and consulates around the world. selecting Gremillet for their prestigious receptions.
Currently in the hands of sister and brother Anne and Jean-Christophe Gremillet and their respective spouses Stephane and Karine the estate is located in Balnot-sur-Laignes, south east of Champagne's historic capital, Troyes. Their vineyards extend to 40 hectares on the Côte des Bars three quarters of which are Pinot Noir.
