In a nutshell: A crisp and zesty Spanish white from La Mancha.
The lowdown: The Castillo del Moro range are, quite simply, good value, modern style Spanish wines that are made to be very pleasurable drinking. Made from fruit grown around the Manzanares area of La Mancha south of Madrid, this, their white is composed mainly of Airén, a Spanish favourite which makes bright and vibrant wines, combined with some Sauvignon Blanc that adds a bit of tropical fruit giving it a real lift. The fruity vivacity runs right through to a long finish with a hint of grapefruit citrus.
When to drink: A cracking, juicy, all rounder that's great by itself, or things like fish, seafood and salads.
