Captain Morgan's Original Spiced

This very famous spirit is smooth and medium bodied and secret blend of premium Caribbean rums, flavourings and spices. It's got flavours of rich vanilla, brown sugar, warming spices and a subtle hint of oak. The distinct amber colour is a result of ageing in charred white oak barrels. A cracking mixer with cola.

It was 1944 when Captain Morgan's Rum Company first made an appearance, after the Seagram Company, based in Canada started producing under that name. Since 2001 the brand was sold to Diageo its presence has expanded greatly being particularly strong in the USA, Canada and at in the UK. These days much of the production is in Puerto Rico.
