Buffalo Trace is the distillery's flagship bourbon and is made from corn, rye and malted barley and aged in new oak barrels in their historic old warehouses. It's deep amber in colour with complex aromas of vanilla, mint and molasses. Smooth in the mouth with notes of brown sugar and spice that lead onto dark fruit, toffee, oak and anise, it's wonderfully long with real depth to the flavours.

Nestled in Frankfort, Kentucky, Buffalo Trace is one of the oldest continually operating distilleries in the USA, with origins tracing back to the 18th century. Their history is a fascinating tapestry, including a unique chapter where they were permitted to produce "medicinal" whiskey during Prohibition.
