Description
At a Glance:
| Mixed Fermentation, Hybrid & Experimental Beer | Belgium | ABV 5.0% | 33cl |
In a Nutshell:
A rich Belgian Flanders Red Ale with a unique flavour.
The Lowdown:
Brewed in Bruges this is a Flanders Red Ale with a unique flavour. This rich brown beer is quite a speciality. It's a blend of top fermented brown ale brewed at the purpose built brewery in the heart of Bruges and tart Lambic ale from the Timmermans brewery. It's really thirst quenching with a sweet and sour tang and masses of complex flavours.
The Brewery:
A new chapter in the history of brewing in Bruges began in 2015 when Bourgogne des Flandres returned to the city centre after an absence of nearly 60 years. The new brewery is located just 50 metres from the place where the original beer was first produced by the Den Os brewery over a hundred years ago.
