Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin

Since its launch onto the market in the mid 1980s Bombay Sapphire, with its characterisitic blue bottle and design based on the British Raj, has become one of the most widely recognized gins of them all. Made using ten botanicals which are vapour infused rather than boiled it has a delicate perfume with a light juniper, pine and peppery touch and a hint of sugared almond sweetness and fresh herbaceousness. These flavours have won it many devotees over the years and it's a perfect base for a dry martini giving a clean, refreshing finish.

The Bombay Spirits Company came about after taking an old recipe from 1761 and crafting it into something special that would stand out in the crowded gin market. Thus, in 1987, Bombay Sapphire was born. Their spirits are made at the charming Laverstoke Mill Distillery in Hampshire, a beautifully renovated 18th-century paper mill which is not just a working distillery but also a bit of a visitor attraction.
