This wine has been aged for 16 months in French oak, 50% new, and has had 20 months cellaring in bottle. The colour is an almost Burgundian red, but the nose has intense red cherry aromas with a subtle spiciness. On the palate it's smooth with freshness to the ripe cherry flavours, elegant spices, and fresh, ripe tannins.
