Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Speyside Single Malt

Bavenie's Caribbean Cask was, at first, aged in traditional oak before being finished in casks which previously held Caribbean rum. The result is an exceptionally smooth whisky with a fruity character, rounded with vanilla and toffee which imparts some extra sweet oak notes and warmth. It's a well-rounded whisky with a real warmth to its character.

The Balvenie, founded in 1892 by William Grant, remains one of the few distilleries still owned by the original family. Situated in the Convals in Dufftown, the heart of Speyside, it's one of the rare distilleries that still malts its own barley, a testament to their commitment to craftsmanship. They also supply the nearby Glenfiddich distillery with whom they share the pristine Robbie Dhu springs as their water source.
