Ayinger Jahrhundert Bier

Initially brewed to celebrate the brewery's centenary in 1978 it has since become one of their regular beers. With a floral, yeasty and honeyed aroma it's quite full bodied on the palate with a well balanced bitterness. It's seriously drinkable and satisfyingly flavourfilled.

Located midway between Munich and the Alps in the village of Aying, Ayinger is a relative newcomer among Bavarian breweries. Established in the 1870s the brewery is well known for organising its own local Oktoberfest celebrations since its location precludes it from taking part in the larger annual Munich beer festival.
