Aviation Gin is one that's gained quite a following over the years among them the actor Ryan Reynolds who liked it so much he became a part owner of the brand. It's quite a fuller bodied gin than many with the juniper working away in the background while the floral notes of lavender, cardamom and orange peel come to the fore. It's a great mixer in cocktails, especially an Aviation after which it was named.

Aviation Gin was founded in 2006 by Oregon based distillers Lee Medoff and Christian Krogstad along with Seattle mixologist Ryan Magarian and was named after the classic gin-based cocktail of the same name. Gaining something of a cult status among gin aficionados it's become one of the more popular brands of premium gin and was bought from the founders in 2016 and since then the actor Ryan Reynolds has also become a part owner of the brand. In awards and tastings it's always been a very consistent performer.
