Ai Galera Mistico Branco NV

The area of Portugal south and east of Lisbon known as the Tejo region is where this wine comes from. It's a region that's long been overlooked, but has the ability to produce excellent value, well made wines as this very characterful example shows. Made from a blend of attractively scented Fernão Pires and Verdelho, which adds a bit of backbone it's bursting with plenty of ripe fruit aromas followed by ripe peach and melon flavours on the tongue rounding off with a pleasantly silky finish.

Fresh, gentle and quite mouth watering, it's great with grilled fish or simply by itself.
