This is a beautifully balanced, easy-drinking Verdejo, with ripe lemon and delicate tropical fruit on both the nose and palate. Harvested in the cool of night and aged in stainless steel to lock in freshness, it's a great example of classic Rueda Verdejo - the style that made this region famous. There's a lovely refreshing quality here, with a herbal twist of fennel on the finish, keeping things lively and interesting. A winner that has bright, zesty character and effortless drinkability.

Bodegas Pisuerga, one of Rueda’s oldest wineries, is dedicated to crafting classic Verdejo from their organically certified vineyards around the small town of La Seca in the heart of the Rueda DO. The objective is straightforward: produce exquisite wines while looking after the environment. They use cover crops and organic manure to enrich the soils and keep disease at bay, allowing for a more hands-off approach in the vineyard. And at the winery, the close-knit team of oenologist's and winemaker's target is a pure expression of Organic Rueda Verdejo. It's a successful blend of tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
