Pilsner with a bit of bite - brisk, clean, and just that little bit louder than many. Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon hops bring lemon zest, a hint of soft fruit and a grassy lift, while pale malt lays down a steady base. The finish is crisp and properly dry, cutting clean without fuss - lager with purpose.
The Brewery:
Born in the cellar of The Pelham Arms, Lewes, in 2016, Abyss Brewing Company is a modern microbrewery that's rather forward-thinking. From dark and brooding stouts to lighter, hoppier numbers, they craft beers with personality. In 2020, they beat 19 other hopefuls to bag the BREW LDN Accelerator prize and wrapped up a successful Crowdfunder to open the Abyss Brewery Tap in Lewes the following year. Their ethos? Beer as community glue, with creativity and collaboration front and centre.
