Portugal - one of those countries everybody has heard of, a lot of us have been to, and are vaguely aware that they make some wine but you don't really see much of it over here... This is really starting to change with Portugal offering some different, interesting and highly quaffable wines at very reasonable prices.
We've been saying for a while now that some of the best value wines are Portuguese and below is a selection of some great weekend wines at weekday prices! From a crisp and zippy Vinho Verde, a rounded and fresh Dão white to a fruity and spicy Douro red, there really is a whole world to explore.
