Zamecky Pivovar Breclav

Medium

Breclav Castle Brewery is located in the town of the same name which is the Czech region of Moravia just a few kilometres from the Austrian border.

Brewing in the town dates back as far as 1522 which they're proud to display on their logo. However, following nationalisation during the communist Cold War period the brewery closed in the mid-1990s after initial privatisation. After this hiatus, the current incarnation of the brewery dates from 2012. Their main label is Kanec, meaning 'wild boar', under which they brew a range of lagers that are slowly finding their way into export markets.
