Cabernet Sauvignon

Medium

Probably the world's most renowned and most planted red wine variety, Cabernet Sauvignon's power base is Bordeaux where it forms the backbone of many a classic claret. It's only in the last 40 or so years that it's spread across the rest of France and the wider world and you'll now find it in most wine regions. Equally capable of making young, fruit forward and age-worthy barrel matured wines it's not hard to see its ready appeal.
