Welcome to August, and with it, another fantastic instalment of our "Flight of Fancy" wine tasting experience! We're thrilled to invite you to join us this Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August for what promises to be a delightful weekend.

As always, there's no need to book – just come along anytime between 3pm and 9pm (or sunset) on either day. Our forecourt will be buzzing, ready for you to relax, enjoy the long summer evenings, and explore a captivating new selection of wines.

For just £7.90, you can create your very own flight of three tasting wines from our specially curated list of nine. It's the perfect opportunity to discover new favourites, explore different regions, or simply enjoy some superb wines in great company. If you find a wine you simply can't get enough of, you can easily enjoy it by the glass (small, medium, or large) or even take a bottle home at retail price, with just a £5 corkage fee to enjoy right here with us.

And don't forget, beyond our featured wines, our full range of wines, beers, and ciders are always available for purchase with a corkage fee. Plus, we'll have all our wonderful cask ales tapped and ready for you by the pint.

The Whites & Rosés:

• Ad Hoc Hen & Chicken Chardonnay

  • Tasting Note: A delightfully balanced Western Australian Chardonnay, full of ripe orchard fruit, a hint of creamy oak, and a bright, citrusy freshness.


• Holdaway Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

  • Tasting Note: In the manner of all good Kiwi Sauvignon Blancs it's the nettles, freshly cut grass and blackberry leaf that vie for attention in this classically aromatic and vibrant wine.

  • Tasting Note: Take a punnet of tart summer berries, a juicy peach or two, and a hint of rose petals and dried herbs and that’ll give you the measure of this.


• Delheim Pinotage Rosé

  • Tasting Note: This gorgeous pale pink rosé has a nose of juicy strawberries and cranberries - just enough to get your mouth watering.


• Château L'Escarelle 'Les Deux Anges' Rosé, Provence
