Debbie's Refreshing German Twist

Debbie kicked off July with the Oliver Zeter Grauburgunder 2023, championing this German take on Pinot Grigio. She highlighted its wonderful crisp freshness, noting elegant pear and a hint of nuttiness, all wrapped in a beautifully balanced and refreshing package. Debbie's go-to for warm summer evenings, she finds it incredibly versatile and enjoyable whether on its own or paired with grilled fish and light salads.

Grace brought something wonderfully different to the table with the Dye Bleeding Skin Contact Grenache Gris 2023. Grace loves its refreshing texture, especially when chilled, and finds it shines both as a sunny afternoon sip and with food, from roasted vegetables to lighter curries.

Phil, our Retail Manager, chose the Vesevo Aglianico 2023, a fantastic Italian red he believes deserves more attention. He described it as brimming with character, offering lovely dark berry fruit, a hint of spice, and a balanced structure that gives it power without being heavy. Phil rates it as incredibly versatile, ideal with rich pasta, hearty roasts, or anything grilled on the barbecue, proving it's a red with real depth that punches above its weight.

Claudia's Elegant Pinot Noir

Closing out July, Claudia opted for the delightful Kumeu Village Pinot Noir. Claudia particularly appreciates its beautiful balance and smooth nature, making it both approachable and interesting. She finds it a versatile choice, perfect for comforting evenings, whether accompanying a roast chicken or simply enjoyed on its own.
