The summer is truly flying by, and we're already looking forward to our fifth out of six incredible "Flight of Fancy" wine tasting experiences! Mark your calendars for this Friday 16th and Saturday 17th August – it's going to be another fantastic weekend of discovery.

As always, there's no need to book ahead; just pop in anytime between 3pm and 9pm (or sunset) on either day. Our forecourt will be buzzing, ready for you to unwind, soak up the sun, and explore a brand-new, captivating selection of wines.

For just £7.90, you can craft your very own flight of three tasting wines from our specially curated list of nine. It's the perfect way to broaden your horizons, find a new favourite, or simply enjoy some superb wines in great company. If a particular wine truly steals your heart, you can easily enjoy it by the glass (small, medium, or large) or even take a bottle home at retail price, with just a £5 corkage fee to enjoy right here with us.

And remember, beyond our featured wines, our full range of wines, beers, and ciders are always available for purchase with a corkage fee. Plus, we'll have all our wonderful cask ales tapped and ready for you by the pint.

Here's the exciting line-up ready for you to explore this weekend – a mix of classic favourites and intriguing new finds!

The Whites & Rosés:

  • Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, Domaine Pre Baron

    • Tasting Note: Inviting aromas of citrus of ripe peach lead onto a fresh, clean palate with great ripeness of fruit and a satisfying, dry finish.

  • Leme, Vinho Verde Loureiro Alvarinho

    • Region: Vinho Verde, Portugal
    • Tasting Note: This aromatic and fresh Vinho Verde bursts with vibrant citrus notes and delicate orange blossom.

  • Bodegas Altolandon 'Enblanco de Altolandon'

    • Region: Manchuela, Spain
    • Tasting Note: A ripe, rounded, and easy-going organic orange wine from Manchuela in Spain, packed with juicy citrus, apricot, and a subtly savoury twist.

  • Tinpot Hut, Marlborough Pinot Gris

    • Region: Marlborough, New Zealand
    • Tasting Note: While this a dry style of Pinot Gris it's not austerely so and it offers aromas of fresh pear, white peach, and a touch of spice.

  • Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé

    • Region: Pfalz, Germany
    • Tasting Note: Vibrant summer berries, delicate floral notes, and a touch of sunshine really stand out - this German rosé delivers elegance with a hint of indulgence.

  • Tenute Sella 'Majoli' Rosato

    • Region: Piedmont, Italy
    • Tasting Note: Pale, subtly floral and rather pretty, this is an elegant Alto Piemonte rosé with a nicely restrained character.

    • Tasting Note: A juicy, thirst-quenching Gamay from the Loire Valley, packed with bright red fruit and a touch of spice.
