We're off down under this month to Western Australia, one of the isolated wine regions in the world, for an elegant and impressive chardonnay.
Start off with an image of a good Burgundian white and you'll be on the right tracks here. The fruit is quite ripe and luscious and the subtle creamy texture, which comes from a short time spent in oak, keeps it restrained and refined rather than pushy and in-your-face.
