Englishman Bill Boulter's small estate of just 9 hectares is typical of the rolling hills of right-bank Bordeaux. His merlot rich blend is both big and bold while remaining soft and velvety on the palate. Full of chunky black fruit and savoury spice it's got everything going for it in terms of character and refinement. Nicely mature this really goes a treat with duck and game birds and, of course a rosemary and garlic studded roast leg of lamb.
