Middle Child Brewing

Fraser and Sam were just two homebrewers when they started out. Asking each other -

"Why is it just me drinking my beer?"

They knew their beer was better than 90% of the ones that you can buy, so thought why not and started entering competitions. It clearly paid off with them now receiving an average Untappd rating of 3.95 out of 5 on their beers.

They started by launching three beers, one of which was a collaboration with Elusive Brewing as a result of Middle Child winning their homebrewing competition. A bit of background – Elusive’s head brewer Andy went pro after himself winning one of the biggest home brewer competitions in the UK and started up his own competition to give back to the brewing community on the 5th birthday of his brewery.

Since launching Middle Child have released 11 beers with another one coming out in a couple of weeks.

As you can probably tell, all the beer names are linked to the idea of being a ‘Middle Child’. Being naughty but having fun at the same time. I think all middle children can agree with that statement.

Currently brewing out of an 8x8ft shed “that you can’t swing a cat in” at the end of Fraser’s garden, they are now just two weeks away from to the garage where they will be quadrupling the amount of beer that they can supply.

If you enjoy Middle Child’s beers as much as we do then this will come as a pleasant surprise, we can’t wait to be able to get our hands on even more of their incredible beers.
