A review of Menu #4
Menu 4 was tested by the inevitable rainy weather that July always seems to bring. However, we pushed through, and many customers braved the bad weather to try the wines on offer from this menu. There were some interesting results, with some surprising top scorers. Without hesitating we are going to jump straight into the top 3 according to your results.
Coming in the first spot for Menu 4 was the popular Reserve de Gassac Rose, on average it scored an impressive 8.36 out of 10. Some common comments for it were that it was lovely and dry, with strong and complex flavour and was like smooth jazz. In second place was the Harlot Brut NV, scoring an average score of 8.24 out of 10. Some common comments about the wine were that it had lovely fruity flavours, with hints of elderflower, pear and honey notes, ad that it would make the perfect picnic wine. Finally in third place was the Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rose, which scored an average of 8.13 out of 10. Some common comments about the wine were that it was a lovely delicate rose, with soft and dainty flavours of red fruit, and that it would make the perfect rose for first-time drinkers.
