Our Cask Ales are Tapped!

FRESHLY TAPPED EVERY THURSDAY

We source all our ale from local, independent micro-breweries as 9-gallon firkins which are allowed to settle and condition for up to seven days. We then broach the casks and serve 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel into 2 pint, 4 pint, 5L Minikeg containers - there are no lines or pumps to taint the ale. All our ales are fully temperature controlled to maintain optimum quality.

Treat yourself to a freshly poured pint this weekend.

Fresh 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel. Order your 2 pints, 4 pints or 5L minikegs online. Poured on-site to preserve the freshness.

Your Cask Ales of Choice Are:

Medium

Indie Rabble Phenomenon Pale Ale

English Style Pale Ale
England: Berkshire
ABV 3.8%

In a Nutshell:
A session-strength American pale featuring Citra hops, citrus drive and balanced, lightly, malty backbone.

The Lowdown:
Phenomenon keeps things simple and puts Citra hops right in the spotlight. Grapefruit and lime zest lead, backed by softer tropical fruit, while the malt base stays lean and unobtrusive. Bitterness is present but kept in check, letting the hop aroma do most of the talking. It's a straight-up American pale, lighter in strength but still full of character.

Medium

Park Brewery Yomp! Amber Ale

Amber, Red Ale & Bitter
England: London
ABV 4.5%

In a Nutshell:
Amber rye ale with subtle malt sweetness, soft red-fruit notes from Barbe Rouge hops, and a crisp, easy finish.

The Lowdown:
Amber-hued and lightly spiced, Yomp is a Park Brewery autumn special - smooth, rounded, and balanced. Rye lends a gentle peppery edge while the French Barbe Rouge hop brings a lift of red-berry and citrus aroma over a base of toasted malt. A touch of bitterness rounds it out cleanly, leaving a bright, satisfying finish that shows the best of the season's amber ales.

Medium

Windsor & Eton Snowy Belgian Pale Ale

Pale, Blonde, Golden & Tripel
England: Berkshire
ABV 4.0%

In a Nutshell:
Belgian-style pale ale with soft banana and clove notes from Abbaye yeast, balanced by biscuity malt and a gentle hop bite.

The Lowdown:
Named after Belgium's most famous dog, Snowy is brewed with Abbaye yeast and Pilgrim hops. It's golden, lightly fruity and softly spiced, with classic banana and clove aromas. Biscuit malt smooths the edges while a touch of earthy hop brings balance. Rounded, dry and clean through the finish - easy to drink and a little less ordinary.

Medium

Wimbledon Pale Ale

English Style Pale Ale
England: London
ABV 4.2%

In a Nutshell:
Crisp, bright pale ale from Wimbledon Brewery with citrus, tropical fruit and gentle bitterness.

The Lowdown:
Wimbledon's take on a modern pale ale brings together English Maris Otter malt with New Zealand Cascade and Centennial hops for a fresh, West Coast-style lift. Expect citrus and tropical fruit aromas - grapefruit, lime and papaya - leading into a clean, balanced palate with a juicy edge. It's light in body but full in flavour, finishing dry and refreshingly moreish.
