Our Cask Ales are Tapped!

Medium

We source all our ale from local, independent micro-breweries as 9-gallon firkins which are allowed to settle and condition for up to seven days. We then broach the casks and serve 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel into 2 pint, 4 pint, 5L Minikeg containers - there are no lines or pumps to taint the ale. All our ales are fully temperature controlled to maintain optimum quality.

Treat yourself to a freshly poured pint this weekend.

Fresh 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel. Order your 2 pints, 4 pints or 5L minikegs online. Poured on-site to preserve the freshness.

In a nutshell:
A light, crisp, and fruity pale ale with just the right touch of bitterness.

The lowdown:
This refreshing American Pale Ale is brewed with Sabro Cryo, Rakau, and Amarillo hops, delivering vibrant tangerine, tropical fruit, and a subtle hint of coconut. Light and easy-going, it finishes slightly dry with a gentle bitterness and has a well-balanced, flavourful character.

Exeter Ferryman Best Bitter

In a nutshell:
Think of this copper-coloured ale as a familiar and comforting taste - nice balance of flavours, not overly fussy, with a bit of a bitter bite at the end.

The lowdown:
Your classic English best bitter, the kind you'll find in pubs up and down the country. Pours a nice copper colour and smells a bit like biscuits and fresh-cut grass. Take a sip and you'll get those bready flavours with just the right amount of bitterness to round it out. This beer's made for kicking back – perfect for watching a bit of footy or rounding off the day with a fish and chips takeaway.

Style - Cask Ale    ABV 4.2% - Moderate Strength

Big Smoke Solaris

In a nutshell:
Light bodied Pale Ale from Esher's Big Smoke Brewery.

The lowdown:
Their biggest selling beer and one of their original brews. With plenty of hop kick it has notes of pine and grapefruit citrus and it checks out with a crisp, dry finish. As are all Big smoke beers it's unfined and unflitered so may have a natural haze.

Style - Bitter, Pale Ale & IPA    ABV 3.8% - Session Strength
