The lowdown:
Brewed to the style and strength of the old Westerham Black Eagle Brewery ale of the same name. It's made with a blend of coloured and roasted malts and late hopped with Kent Goldings. There's a layer of rich, roasted flavours together with the sweetness of dark stewed fruits. Its got a lovely smooth feel on the tongue and finishes with just a hint a bitterness. The bottle label design harks back to the original from the 1930s and 40s.
