Vigneti Tardis is a collaboration between sommelier and owner of Leroy in Shoreditch, Jack Lewens and his long-time friend Bruno di Conciliis of Viticoltori di Conciliis in Cilento, Campania.
The wines are made organically and biodynamically from their own 3.6ha of vineyards in Cilento and the total production of the estate is 25,000 bottles annually. They use only indigenous grape varieties, Aglianico and the long forgotten Aglianicone for the reds and Fiano and other aromatic varieties like Malvasia for the whites. They farm organically and biodynamically and the wines are made with minimal intervention and very low sulphur additions.
These are artisanal wines made with a distinctly hands-off approach. In a region normally known for producing big powerful wines these are a more delicate, less extracted interpretation with great drinkability and individuality.
