A Trappist Ale brewed by the Benedictine monks of St, Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts and certified by the International Trappist Association. Their Trappist Ale is inspired by classic Refectory Ales, or Pasterbiers, that are traditionally sessionable beers brewed by the monks only for their dining table. Unfiltered and unpasteurised with a slight natural carbonation Spencer is golden in colour, full-bodied with fruity notes, a light hoppy bitterness and dry finish.
