Siren's Italian pilsner is all about clean, harmonious flavours and outstanding drinkability. Classic base malts give just enough sweetness to balance against the hops, which are more prominent here than in other lager styles. The delicate floral and herbal aromas give way to light gooseberry notes and crisp, refreshing bitterness making for a very pleasing lager.
The Brewery:
Among the forefront the modern generation of brewers Siren Craft Brew have been building an enviable reputation since 2013 at their brewery in Finchampstead, near Wokingham, in Berkshire. In addition to their core range they also have a steady stream of seasonal, special releases and special project beers in production. Part of their philosophy is that they "believe all beer drinkers should be able to enjoy craft beer as wine drinkers enjoy the finest wines" and, as a wine and craft beer specialist, it's something with which we wholeheartedly agree.
