In a nutshell:
A superb aromatic, medium-dry Grand Cru Pinot Gris from Alsace in Eastern France.
Grown on a very old South-East facing terraced vineyard that's still ploughed by Franche-Comte horses. Its has a marked, pleasant and racy nose of candied and yellow fruits, plum, quince, golden apple with a touch of honey and fudge. And is full-bodied, fleshy and mellow on the palate with a clean and lively stucture. To round off the complex, rich flavours linger during the beautiful, lengthy finish.
When to drink:
An outstanding example from a quality Alsatian domaine. Matches well with a range of white meats and poultry,
