In a nutshell: A juniper led small batch gin from the Isle of Skye.
The lowdown: Eleven botanical go into this, amongn them juniper, coriander, grains of paradise, orris root, liquorice root, black cubebs, lemon peel and cassia bark plus one secret botanical which only comes from the Isle of Skye. While it's clasically juniper led it's not too floral and has earthy undertones, a hint of spice and subtle citrus flavours leading up to a refreshing finish.
Best served with tonic, over ice and a twist of orange peel.
Nestled in the heart of Portree, the Isle of Skye's main town the distillery was founded in 2017 by brothers Thomas and Alistair Wilson who were raised on the island. It is the first gin distillery on Skye.
All of their gin is locally distilled in Portree and among the botanical they use locally foraged junipers and water from the Storr Loch only a mile from the distillery.
