In a nutshell:
A classic fresh and crisp Gavi di Gavi from Piedmont in North West Italy.
The Rovereto vineyard, from where this comes, is in one of the most favoured locations in Gavi. The result gives a wine with nice zesty citrus fruits and nettles which lead onto riper stone fruits with touches of herbs coming through. There's also an impressive depth and complexity to the fruit flavours and together with the well balanced acidity and persistent length makes this quite impressive.
When to drink:
Try with sushi, seafood, or spicy Asian dishes.
