Founded in the mid 1990s by three medical academics whose passion for wine ended up taking priority over their passion for science, they're based in the small town of Lethbridge about 40km west of Melbourne.
Firm believers in the concept of terroir and minimal intervention their avowed aim is to produce the best wines they can that express the unique character of their origins. Prior to getting going they went to great lengths to find they best vineyard sites they could to enable them to do this. Their philosphy also encompasses practicing organic techniques influenced by Biodynamic principles.
