An award-winning craft brewery less than a mile from, and inspired by, the world-famous gardens at Kew. Their aim is simple - to make great tasting beer as sustainably as they can.
Originally set up by husband and wife Dave and Rachel (both long-term Kew residents), Kew Brewery started brewing in May 2015, and quickly picked up some awards: Beer of the Festival at Ealing Beer Festival in July 2015, and second place at the Twickenham Beer Festival in October 2015. And they've followed that success up with further Beer of the Festival awards, at Ealing Beer Festival 2016 for their Pagoda Pale, and at Spa Valley Railway Beer Festival for Nightshade, their chilli porter. Having previously worked at Weird Beard Brew Co - a brewery at the forefront of the London craft beer scene - as well as helping out at two excellent breweries in Kent (Old Dairy Brewery and The Canterbury Brewers) Head Brewer Dave created a strong and varied core range of beers, with occasional unexpected twists inspired by nature.
In 2018 the brewery has moved onto new direction under Jana and Jon who'd been looking for an entrance into craft brewing since settling in the UK. Ang together with Sen and Ross they now form the team that's taking Kew Brewery forward in its next chapter.
